91st Annual Art Competition
This is actually my second entry for the Art Instruction Schools' Annual Art Competition. I did one back in '05. I really should put it up here too...
Would you believe that my entry for the competition was actually the second one of these I did? Well if the piece happens to win, the school keeps it, and I wasn't about to give up my original, so I did another one on better paper. I think this is the original that I scanned in, but I'm not sure. Oh, and if you're curious, I was a finalist in this one, and I have the certificate framed and hanging up on my wall. "Fairies At Rest", the title of the piece, made it to the final round of judging. Out of almost 700 entries, these two faires were in the top 10%! Knowing that is just as good if not better than winning a cash prize.
