Princess Ai
Again, this is another manga that I have never read, but I did see it at Walden Books before they closed. I almost bought the first volume but I think that was when I picked up volume 1 of Othello and bought it instead. Anyways, the reason I did this one and the next Princess Ai one were for a thing that TokyoPop was doing back at the beginning of the year, something secret. I don't know if they got the email I sent with these attached, but regardless, I'd really like to know what that big secret project was about.
Yes I am aware that this does not look like the Ai from the manga. To be honest, in the original picture, I wasn't crazy about the way they did her face. I also changed the look of the dress, opting for texture in the dress (which took ages!) and the way they had Ai's hair pulled back. I ditched the flower, added two big bows and curled her hair more. Oh yeah and I ditched the feathered boa cause feathers tend to give me fits if I'm not inspired to draw them.
