Arlene
This one, plus the next 5 are part of a series of characters I had in my head. Expect to see more following these. This isn't the original 'Arlene' I had drawn, but it looks better than the original. This character Arlene isn't exactly human, and she's not exactly an elf, either. She's a hybrid, a sort of mix of human, elven, and guardian qualities. Now like the "EM" series, I haven't figured out all of the details, but what I can say about a Guardian is that they're only known as a myth and weren't predicted to even exist.
The pose was inspired by a Princess Ai pic I had seen on the Net, and if you know what I'm talking about, you'll notice I forgot to take the tattoos off the feet. *sweatdrop* I started out drawing Ai, but then I decided to create Arlene and I forgot to erase the tattoos. Anyway, Arlene isn't in 'Guardian mode' here, she appears to be more of a She-Elf except for the ears-those are guardian-type ears. Actually, they're kinda Zelda-ish or Deedlit-ish, but I haven't seen either wearing earrings like Arlenes'. I like the earrings, but it looks like the ear cuffs would start to get annoying after a while.
