Xtreme X-Men Rogue
I did a Google search for X-Men comics. I found this one site, I forget the name of it, that had I think every cover scanned in from every X-men comic ever printed. This even includes the ones that feature only Storm, or Rogue, or Gambit, and so on. Good grief! I had no idea there were so many! I have one, it's X-Men Unlimited Vol. 1 #7. It has this really cool picture of Storm on the cover. I have a lot of the old Sailor Moon comics, and one Vampire Princess Miyu I bought at a flea market too, but now I mostly just buy graphic novels.
Here's the first of the two I did on commission for Laurie and her husband. They requested that Rogue be in this uniform inparticular because she's so rarely seen in it. Now it's either the uniform from the movies or the traditional green and yellow one. I really, really, really, like the way the colors on this uniform just seem to stand out against the dark trenchcoat. I've seen pictures of Rogue wearing Gambit's brown one, but I thought I'd make her her own black one billowing behind her since she's able to fly in this series. I just wish that whoever made the three movies would have kep Rogues' hair red-red, instead of going for this reddish-brown thing. Her hair was red with white in the original tv show, it should have been red in the movies.
