Guardian of Water
This is the second in the Elemental Guardian series. "People born under the astrological signs of Scorpio, Cancer and Pisces being one of the two drawn elements meaning it is part of two of the classical elements are thought to have dominant water personalities. Water personalities tend to be emotional, kind, nurturing, sympathetic, empathetic and intuitive; however, they can also be needy, sentimental, over-sensitive and irrational."
Done in colored pencil and inked with Sakura pens. Coming up with a good pose for a water-sprite type character is hard, but I really like how the colors are so bright. Come to think of it, all four of them scanned in brighter; really makes them noticeable, huh? Despite them being each of a different element, I wanted to have some sense of unity between them, hence the long elven-like ears, the same expression in the eyes, the jeweled chestplate, and the background.
