Summer Reading Program: Black & White
This was the black & white version I did for the Thomasville Library's Summer Reading Program last year. The theme was "Get Graphic @ Your Library!" and I was asked to come up with a logo that could be used for posters, banners, and now they're little stickers on all of the graphic novels and manga!
I'm not really sure why I did a black & white version of this picture. I guess I wasn't sure what it would look like, so I went and made like 6 copies of the lineart to experiment with with colored pencils. This is one of the copies I made, and I just shaded it in with a #2 pencil.
