Summer Reading Program: Colored
This was the colored version I did for the Thomasville Library's Summer Reading Program last year. The theme was "Get Graphic @ Your Library!" and I was asked to come up with a logo that could be used for posters, banners, and now they're little stickers on all of the graphic novels and manga!
This is the final colored version. Actually, it's the only colored version I've done; I still have three or four copies left that I can experiment with. I really like how the original colored one turned out, so I'm not sure if I ever happened to change the look on one of the other copies if I'd like it as much. And for once, putting a lot of detail into something actually paid off. I know this pic is resized, but look real close at it. The girl's fingernails and toenails are "painted", and the doujinshi (fan-made comic) cover looks like a doujinshi cover. Yes, I am insane when it comes to details.
